you guessed it! flagstaff is starting to grow on us. our apartment is nice, the ward is great, and the weather is unbelievable (for the next few months)! Ammon works full time, comes home to a delicious home-cooked meal, and then puts on his noise-cancelling ear buds (courtesy of mama brown) to listen to his oh-so-intense lectures. studying is tedious, but he loves work! because ammon is never REALLY home, i feel like a single mom. therefore, i've been looking for opportunities to keep myself (and emma) entertained. we walk about a mile a day on her bike (the best birthday gift i've ever given her), head off to parks, and enjoy the outdoors (never though i'd say that). emma LOVES nursery. there are 2 nurseries in the ward, and she's the oldest of the younger one. there are a few other families with red-haired children, so maybe she feels like she's finally found home! :)
ammon also found out that coconino county is able to hire attorneys right now. bummer that he hasn't take the bar yet. hopefully they can continue to hire in a few months, or hopefully maricopa's budget finally has its act together :)
here are some graduation pics...
i cried during the ceremony! it finally all felt real...no more school! too bad he can't officially have a real job for another few months. it's so nice to have a paycheck again though! i'm so proud of all his hard work these last few weeks! only 48 more days til the bar!
being "hooded"...a little too reminiscent of harry potter if you ask me.
if you're wondering why he decided to wear a purple hood and maroon robes, it's because purple is the color of a law degree, and maroon is the color of his school. given the choice, i'm sure he'd have preferred gray with brown.
who's more excited about the big day?
thanks to everyone who made his graduation possible, and to everyone who came to support this big step in our lives! a special thank to tyson photography once again! :) killer zoom lens!

Congrats! I know what an accomplishment that is and can't wait until it's our turn! We'll be in PHX doing a clerkship this summer. Too bad we're missing you!
