.077 down... .923 to go!

Ammon passed the MPRE!! It's the "first part" of the Arizona Bar test. It's supposed to be a lot easier than the actual Bar test because it's just about the professional responsibility of a lawyer (and takes 2 hours to write instead of 2 days). I think Ammon studied for maybe 5 hours for it? Hopefully he'll have enough time to study for the Bar while he's working full-time.

For those of you who don't know...Ammon got a clerkship at the Coconino County Attorney's Office in Flagstaff. It's about 2 hours away from Gilbert, so we're renting our house out (anyone looking for a house to rent?) and moving into an apartment. We'll probably be gone for a few months is all. We hope to return to the valley in October when we get the Bar results back and Ammon is allowed to apply for attorney jobs. Keep praying that the Maricopa County budget is in our favor. :) Otherwise, it looks like Flagstaff will be our home for quite some time. We know that everything will work out, but have I mentioned how much I hate change and uncertainty?

Emma's Shimmy

Emma loves to watch herself on video. She's dancing while she watches the previous video we posted.

Happy 2010!

Pretty Toes!! Emma loves getting her toes painted, but every time I do it I realize that she is still too young. :) She always touches the wet nail polish.

Pretty pretty Princess!! Emma loves playing dress up so Santa brought her some jewelry.

Emma also loves sitting in her shopping cart while she takes a break from playing with her new kitchen.

My family and I dipped chocolate for Christmas this year. We made a total of 16.4 pounds. Most people would wonder how many people we delivered them to. The answer? 0. We divided the chocolate among the families and devoured 4.1 pounds of chocolate each.

Ammon's cousin Trevor, Trevor's wife Liz & Trevor's 11-month-old son Ben came to visit us.

Ammon's sister Jana & her fiance Mark Eliason also came to join the party!

We also had Ammon's brother Dallin & his wife Becki down for a visit! Thanks everyone for coming!!

We hiked Camelback mountain with both Jana & Mark and Dallin & Becki. Emma isn't much of a hiker (like her mom) so we had to bribe her with M&M's the whole trip (notice the chocolate remains around her mouth).

Emma's latest face...the roll of the eyes. Most parents would be annoyed. Personally, I think it's hilarious...at least for now. What 18-month-old knows how to roll their eyes at their parents? HAHA!
