my new calling...

I have been hesitant sharing the news about my calling because I feel like it's not really set in stone until I am set apart. On the other hand, the 2 people I told first have already shared the news with everyone, so I thought that I might as well start spreading the news so people aren't offended that they didn't hear it first hand. :) I've already had 2 meetings with the new calling, so I guess it's more or less official!

I have been called as the Assistant Choreography Director of the Mesa Easter Pageant, and am totally excited to be a part of it! I have always wanted to perform in the pageant, but always had a reason not to try out. Now I don't really have to! :) It's a 5 year calling, and I'm in charge of holding auditions, casting, and teaching the choreography to the Angels that stand on top. I am extremely nervous because I have no idea what I'm doing, but am very grateful for all of the support of the other directors, the former choreography directors, and definitely from my family! This should be an incredible spiritual experience!

Hopefully you can all attend the pageant this year! For more information about show times and auditions, visit this site.

Looks like I'll be thinking Easter for 6 months out of the year!

This is really cool! I'm sure it will keep you busy, but will be so rewarding. How is life, by the way? Do you miss teaching? Being a stay-at-home mom can be really hard, but it's worth it!
