camera help!

i have had the same digital camera for 5 years now. many of you would probably be disgusted at that thought. ammon and i have recently decided to look for a new camera. he worked at best buy for like a month nearly 3 years ago, so has an idea of what good cameras were THEN. but clearly that's not very helpful for NOW. therefore, if anyone has ANY idea of what type of camera we should get, please let us know. we are just looking for a middle-of-the-row camera that is small so it fits in my purse. THANKS!

We got a new digital camera for Christmas and I wanted one that would take good pics but I could keep on me at all times. I picked out a Sony Cyber-shot camera (I think my mom got it at either Sam's Club or Costco b/c it was cheaper there). I think it might have been a W-170 or W-190... if you want exact details let me know. My mom, sister, and I all have this camera and we bought carrying cases (mine was 10 bucks at Target); we all love it. I love that when you click the on button it is ready to take a picture in like less than a second. I think the pics are good enough quality for how travel friendly it is. I think it was around $190. You'll have to look online for the best prices. Here's a rough estimate of what it looks like on the Sony website (and it comes in different colors). Good luck looking!!

my brother got a little point-and-shoot Canon at costco. I'm not sure what model it is, but it's tiny and good quality!

Yes! It was me! Dang it, I would have LOVED to see Emma in person. You were at the Chandler Mall I take it?? I've heard great things about Canon point and shoot...just try and make sure it has vibration reduction!

Hi Jes! I'm still dying to meet Emma! Hope you guys are doing well! About a camera, I just got a Canon SD850 for Christmas last year and i love it! It takes the greatest pictures and I think it even has gone on sale at Costco a few times since. I've just heard its important to get one with "optical image stabilization" or something like that. Good luck!

that was my preparedness plan until I realized that with all the trees that got knocked down we couldn't drive over there if we wanted to!
